Environmental Impact Assessment

This course examines how to assess the effects of proposed developmental projects on environmental systems. Principles of environmental planning are presented alongside Canadian regulatory frameworks. Cases studies are presented on energy, mining, and northern development projects in a Canadian context. This interdisciplinary course allows students to integrate their knowledge with other disciplines. PREREQ: 60 credits completed. 3 credits in statistics are recommended (lec 3) cr 3.
