Dedicated to promoting full access, participation and success for First Nations, Métis, and Inuit students.


The Indigenous Student Affairs’ team strives to ensure a positive learning environment in a manner consistent with the Indigenous worldview. It is our intention to increase accessibility and retention, as well as enhance the academic experience of students of First Nations, Métis, and Inuit ancestry at Laurentian University.

Register with Indigenous Student Affairs

First Nations, Métis, and Inuit students that are or will be taking studies at Laurentian can register with our office to gain access to our services by filling out our form. Completed forms can be emailed, faxed, or dropped off at our office.

Who We Are




Indigenous Student Affairs nurtures a learning environment which supports the academic, spiritual, physical and emotional well-being of the First Nations, Métis and Inuit student body by respecting and supporting the voices and spirit of our community at Laurentian University.

The ISA team consists of the following:
